Walking with you on your journey to self healing.
Hello Everyone.
I want to start this message by saying how much I appreciate the loyalty and support I've received from all of you since I opened my Williamsburg studio. It has been an incredible honor for me to walk with each of you on your healing journeys.
The Universe has spoken, and I have actually listened for once. It is time to step back from my one-woman show in Williamsburg and concentrate my work in Gloucester. I am going to close the Williamsburg location. I'm sorry. I've put a lot of time, energy, effort, love - all of the things - into making this little office my sanctuary of peace and relief.
Over the last eight months, I've faced challenges with health, family, travel, and especially finances. All of these combined have made it so the studio is no longer self supporting. I can't afford to keep paying the extra expenses required to maintain it.
I will be available for appointments at Chiropractic Care of Hayes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until September, when my schedule will expand to include Thursdays. Here's my intended schedule:
Monday 12 - 8
Wednesday 10:30 - 5
Thursday 12 - 8
Friday 10:30 - 6
Some positive info for you: CCH is in network with several major insurance companies and plans, so you may be able to use your insurance there! Dr. Tiso is an amazing Chiropractor who loves to educate his patients on self-care along with helping them maintain proper joint functionality. There are three massage therapists there, each working slightly different schedules, and each with her own treatment styles. If you can't get in with me, I encourage you to give Patti or Alicia a try. Also, the office is located less than a mile from the George P Coleman Bridge! We are in the Point Shoppes near Toucan Tattoo, Eggheads Diner, West Marine, and Taylor Do It Center.

I discovered massage therapy later in life. I’d never even had a professional massage until I was in my late 30’s. Even then, I didn’t consider it as a career choice - I was too busy working in the financial industry. Then someone introduced me to Reiki, which still isn’t massage, but is such a quiet, powerful way of healing that I wanted to start sharing it with the world. I lived in Florida at the time, where a license to touch is required if you want to practice Reiki as a business. To get a license to touch, I could go to nursing school or massage school. Since I’m not fond of blood, my choice was clear. From the first day of Anatomy and Physiology I knew I’d found a new path and I was eager to follow it through. Along with Reiki, I learned massage styles including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and Thai. I graduated in 2010 and completed my Reiki Master training in 2011. After graduating I added certification in Nurturing the Mother (Pregnancy and Postnatal); Bamboo Fusion; Lymphatic Detox; and Integrative Reflexology. Since embarking on this new path, I feel I have changed and grown in ways I never imagined. I look forward to meeting each new client and love seeing my return clients as they begin to relax, breathe, and heal.
I currently live in Gloucester County, Virginia with family and four cats. Only one of the cats is mine - I'm not the crazy cat lady that I sometimes resemble. My interests include music, theatre, coloring, and random artistic efforts. I try to laugh as much as I can, and I hope you do, too!
The first time I work with a new client, I try to find out more than just what hurts today. You may have tension in your legs today, but what usually bothers you is your shoulders. So we will discuss your goal for today as well as your overall healing or wellness goals. Sometimes the way to reach that goal is to schedule more frequent visits for a short time, followed by maintenance sessions spaced farther apart. Together we will find the best path to reach your goals.
Along with offering Reiki Healing alone or as part of a massage or Reflexology session, I offer Reiki Training to those who are interested. I teach three levels: Reiki I for self-healing; Reiki II for working with others; Reiki III/Master for teaching others.
See the Reiki tab for more information.

My table is a safe zone. A judgment free zone. LGBTQN; every skin color; every religion/faith; every political affiliation; every career path; injuries; traumas; wellness goals: all of these are respected on my table. I don’t ask questions that don’t apply somehow to the session. What a client shares with me will stay with me. There is one goal for everyone on my table - relief. How we get there is up to the client.
